National Public Health Week is an opportunity for health professionals to engage with individuals and communities and help them navigate the changing world of public health.

This year, NPHW will be celebrated nationally from April 4-16,2016.

On Oahu, we will celebrate National Public Health Week on Thursday, April 7th with a special presentation at the UH Cancer Center's Sullivan Conference Center.

This year, HPHA will celebrate Hawaii's ranking as the healthiest state for the fourth consecutive year by "United Health Foundation."

With still much work to be done, HPHA will explore the theme “Healthiest Nation 2030 - Hawaii: The Healthiest State?” with presenters discussing achievements and challenges around this topic.

Our Healthy Happy Hour will include light pupus and special “mocktails” to round out the evening.

Don’t miss this once a year event to celebrate public health in Hawaii, re-connect with colleagues and meet the new public health professionals of the future!

We look forward to seeing you there!
