Vaccine:  Surviving Hawai‘i's Next Pandemic

The DOH is excited to announce three upcoming live, call-in panel discussions on the subject of how our state will determine who will receive vaccine first during a severe pandemic influenza outbreak in Hawai‘i.

The first of these three weekly segments – “Vaccine: Surviving Hawai‘i’s Next Pandemic” – will air Wednesday, April 15, from 8-9pm on KHNL Channel 8 and feature Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino, state Epidemiologist Dr. Sarah Park, and Lt. Gov. James “Duke” Aiona.

Full broadcast schedule for the live, TV panel discussions on KHNL Channel 8:

• April 15, 8-9 p.m.
• April 22, 8-9 p.m.
• April 29, 8-9 p.m.

In addition to these live shows, re-runs of each show will occur each Sunday following each show. Those reruns will air on K5 The Home Team Channel 5:

• April 19, 6-7 p.m.
• April 26, 6-7 p.m.
• May 3, 6-7 p.m.
